Allison Pregler Bio
Allison Pregler is an avid film critic who reviews Z-graded films, mostly in the horror or martial arts genres. Her style and method are very similar to The Cinema Snob. However, she tends towards stupid action movies that have a twisted fascination. She started reviewing late in 2009 and gained some respect on their forums under her old username Obscurus lupa. In 2010, she joined the Channel Awesome Family. She continued to be a member of the channel through January of 2015, after which Obscurus Lupa Presents changed into Movie Nights. She hosts two podcasts on her channel. Both are based on the Charmed series and are co-hosted by Phelous. After a controversial departure from Channel Awesome Allison officially announced on January 20th 2015 that she'd be revamping OLP into an impromptu review show called Movie Nights with an appropriately-shlocky elevator jazz theme. Ninja the Mission Force has her on a roll acting Interpol Ninja Cheetah. Brad Jones' film Jesus Bro! also starred her. She also appeared as a guest star on Midnight Screenings is a regular event. It reviews horrendous films aimed at children, RiffTrax and live shows. There are also times when it features adult humor. The first time she reviewed a film was the latter part of 2009. She earned a great deal of popularity through Channel Awesome. Channel Awesome forum before becoming part of their family. She's appeared on numerous Channel Awesome episodes, including Atop the Fourth Wall as well as Phelous & the Movies. She was a part of the Channel Awesome family alongside Doug Walker and often appeared on episode of the Nostalgia Critic.
